PASSIONATE NUMBER: HERE IS HOW MUCH WEALTH IS STOLEN FROM DI MARIA

The homes of two PSG footballers Angela Di Marie and Marquinhos were looted on Sunday while the two were playing a championship game against Nantes, the French sports newspaper L'Equipe reported on Monday, adding that members of the footballers' family were held hostage during the robbery.  So after a brief conversation with PSG sporting director Leonardo, coach Mauricio Pochettino took D Maria out of the game after 62 minutes.  In a PSG statement, Brazilian team captain Marquinhos said his parents' house was looted during the game against Nantes while his family was inside.  "No one was injured and now everyone is fine. The French authorities have launched an investigation," Marquinhos said in a statement.

Di Maria, who has just extended his contract with PSG for another season until 2022, has already been the victim of a robbery attempt in 2015 when he played for Manchester United.  LEquipe writes that the robbers managed to steal a safe from Di Maria's house, which contained jewelry and watches worth at least 500 thousand euros.  PSG eventually lost the game 1: 2 to Nantes and this is their fourth defeat at home this season.
