The tragedy occurred in a serious car accident in Rome. Guerini was in Smart with two friends. They collided with a Mercedes A-Class. The driver of that car is in danger of death, Guerini's friends are in serious condition, and he died. Guerini was an Italian U-15 and U-16 national team player. He also played in Turin, Fiorentina and SPAL.
